Meeting 7th December 2004

At this meeting our president did exceptionally well with the work he carried out. He was almost word perfect, Well done. The two brethren who assisted him during the evening must also be congratulated on how well they performed their roles, especially the junior role. There were 27 sat at table and the raffle raised  £150 for Masonic Charities.

Comedy Race Night: 20th November 2004

What a great evening was had by all. £650 was  raised for the 1988 Improvement Fund
Many thanks to all those who helped make the evening such a success.

Remembrance Day Parade: 2004

Again this year there was a good turn out of the Brethren from the Masonic Lodges in Paddock Wood. Again they marched from St Andrews Church to the War Memorial for a service of Remembrance. A wreath was laid by one of the senior Brethren, on behalf of the Masonic Lodges in Paddock Wood. I would add, he looked proud wearing all his medals from the past and we were proud of him

Meeting 2nd November 2004

It was the first meeting with our new President in the chair, he must be congratulated on the way he ran the whole meeting, it would appear we have some good things to come There was a very fine Lecture given by a W/Bro from Paddock Wood Lodge No. 4291. Yet again it was good to see so many Lodge members with their guest especially the Brother who has not been able to attend resent meetings because of family health reasons, a warm welcome back. There were 31 sat at table for the festive board and the raffle raised £155 for Masonic Charities, another splendid effort by our Charity Steward.

Meeting 5th October 2004

A very warm welcome to our new President. All the Lodge members wish him a happy and successfully year.
The whole meeting went off without a hitch, our out going president must be congratulated on the way he conducted the evening.
It was nice to see so many members and their visitors and guests in the Lodge.
There were 40 sat at table for the festive board and the raffle raised £185 for Masonic Charities.

Committee Meeting 23rd August 2004

We had a really good number attend the meeting, the agenda was followed through, minutes of the previous were read and approved. The President Elect presented his list of proposed officers for the coming year, this was approved and agreed , the meeting then went on to arrange the allocation of duties for the new year, this was also agree and approved.
No matters arose in, and a date was set for the next committee meeting January 2005
The Chairman thanked such a large number for attending and then closed the meeting.

Summer Barbecue:

This years Summer Barbecue was very well attended, it was not as hot as last year, however it was still a great success making a surplus on the day of £400 for the Improvement Fund. A big thank you must go to the W/Bro who arranged the Barbecue and for allowing us to use his garden.
Thanks are particular due to a W/Bro. from Bradley Lodge who, once again, arranged a raffle with many prizes donated from the brethren.

Meeting 1st June 2004

This was the last meeting for this season, what a great night it was to. It was really good to see the Brother who now lives in the sunnier part of Europe, a very warm welcome back to the Lodge. For the Brother who has now made it to a MM also a very warm welcome on what you achieved and we all look forward to you partaking in all the Lodge activates. The Brothers who also played a part in the evening, carried out their roles with great confidence and they must also be congratulated. It was a real great evening.
There was 37 sat at table, the only down side to the evening was we had to say good bye to our caterer, however we all wished her and her husband, well for the future. The raffle raised £176 for Masonic Charities.
We are now all looking forward to the new season and hope all the Brothers have a good summer.

Meeting 6th April 2004

A really great night was had by all at the regular meeting held on the 6th April 2004. The new member and our president carried out their roles with great confidence. The two Brethren , who gave an
explanation to the new member on the proceedings of the evening, must be congratulated on how well they both did.
There were 24 sat at table, the raffle raised £104, our Charity Steward gave a special thank you to the Brother who brought along the Easter Eggs for the raffle, the big egg which was raffled off separately raised £49.
Meeting 2nd March 2004

At the regular meeting held on the 2nd March 2004 we were honoured with the presence of A.P.G.M.

2004 Festival: The Lodge was presented with a Gold Certificate for raising £17,686 for the 2004 Festival.
We have received a letter from the A.P.G.M. thanking the Brethren of Stanley Wykeham Lodge for the wonderful time he had with us.

The really good news for our lodge, we had a new member join the Lodge, he was made most welcome by all the Lodge members and by his own special guests into the Lodge and Freemasonry.
The Brethren who had the major roles for the evening were congratulated on the way they carried out their roles, for it was the first time two of them had done it for real.

There was 33 sat at table and the raffle raised just over £100 for Masonic Charity.

The Ladies Festival

Our President and his Lady held his Ladies Festival on the 28th February 2004 at the Hop Farm Paddock Wood. There were about sixty eight members, ladies and friends attended. It was an absolute brilliant night, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the raffle raised about £750 which will be presented to a local charity, Hospice in the Weald.
