Meeting 2nd October 2007
A very warm welcome to our new Master of the Lodge, it was nice to see so many Brethren at his Installation. We all wish him a very good and enjoyable year.
There are are a few things that are worthy of mention from the meeting, The Installing Master, W/Bro. Alan, again, did an absolutely fantastic piece of working, he must really be congratulated, well done Alan, and Bro. Graham from the Rose of England Lodge No 6493, Hastings, East Sussex, what a brilliant job he did in singing the Master's song. The Lodge is truly grateful for his effort.
The Brethren who did the addresses, they also did a wonderful job and last but not least the two younger Brethren who addressed the new Master.
There were 54 sat at table and the raffle raised £330 for Masonic Charities. This time the theme was Harvest Festival.
aurora tsunami orphanage appeal
The Lodge has made a donation to the appeal of £1,000, which will now create a lasting tribute to our Lodge by having a road in the village named after it. The name of the road is to be called: Stanley Wykeham Way
Meeting 3rd April 2007
This was the first white table meeting that the Lodge had held for some years, there were 72 members and guest who attended the meeting which included members wife's plus non masons and their wife's, Bro Matt gave an excellent explanation of the Lodge and introduced the members to the guests, very well done Matt.
All 72 members and guests sat at table and the raffle raised £365 for Masonic Charities
Meeting 6th March 2007
A very warm welcome to our new made Brother, Alex, the Brethren wish him all the very best in his Masonic career. A tribute must be made to our WM who conduct the ceremony with confidence & finesse, a credit to him. It must also be added that how well the other Brethren did who took part in the ceremony, well done to you all.
There 29 sat down at table for the Festive Board and the raffle raised £115 for Masonic Charities, the theme was garden & gardening
Meeting 6th November 2007
The Lodge again got off to a good start in the new Masonic year, at this meeting there was a brilliant lecture given by W.Bro. Reg., called Lifting of the Vail, it certainly gave the brethren food for thought, the lecture lasted about 45mins. and kept the Brethren's attention the whole time.
There were 25 who sat at table and the raffle raise £150 for Masonic Charities.
Meeting 4th December 2007
This was the last meeting for 2007, what a great night to go out on in the old year. It was the night Bro. Alex became a Master Mason, congratulations to him and all the Brethren that took part in the evening
It was so nice to see so many Brethren in the Lodge, to all those Brethren who brought along guest, thank you and well done.
